Privacy Policy

Inspo Box is made by Shelby Scott under the name Holographic Labs (“we”). This policy covers the Inspo Box iPhone app, the web app at my.inspobox.app, and this website. The short version: your inspirations stay on your device, and we don't collect personal data.

What we collect

Nothing. Inspo Box has no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. We don't sell or share data because we don't have it.

Where your inspirations are stored

  • iPhone app: everything you save — recordings, photos, videos, text, links, notes, folders and mood boards — is stored on your iPhone, inside the app. Your device's own backups (for example iCloud Backup) may include it, depending on your settings.
  • Web app: everything is stored in your browser on that computer or phone. It isn't uploaded to us.
  • Deleting the app, or clearing your browser's site data for my.inspobox.app, permanently deletes what you saved there. We can't recover it.
  • Your iPhone and web app don't sync with each other yet.

Camera, microphone and photos

Inspo Box asks for access to your camera, microphone or photo library only when you choose to record, take a photo or video, or upload something. What you capture is saved on your device and isn't sent to us.

Music links and other services

  • When you paste a Spotify, SoundCloud or YouTube link, Inspo Box sends that link to the service to fetch the track's title and artwork. Those services handle the request under their own privacy policies.
  • Opening a link takes you to that service's app or website.
  • Our websites are hosted by Vercel, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) to deliver and protect the sites.

Children

Inspo Box isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone.

Changes

If Inspo Box adds features that need data to leave your device — like accounts, syncing or shared folders — we'll update this policy before they launch and change the date above.
